Albeit being an independent team, Engineers of the QA Department are working very closely together with Development teams and collaborate with other organizational units on constant basis, such as Product Management, Technical Support and Customer Success. The QA Department’s mission is to ensure that the Marketplace Platform team delivers quality as perceived by our clients. Thus, you will play a vital role in ensuring that “quality” is on everyone’s radar - delivering a high quality product is a responsibility shared by everyone on the Marketplace platform team. Owning and performing a wide range of test types throughout all stages of the development process is at the core of your work. However, QA Engineers are also directly involved in creating and implementing quality-related standards and frameworks, providing transparency of our clients' current quality perception as well as reporting against the quality status of our platform at any point in time. What will you do? Analyze and understand business and product requirements and ensure the engineering implementation covers all of them. Design and develop testing frameworks, test tools, and automation for complex, distributed systems. Define and set quality assurance metrics and thresholds, and ensure that they are met at any point of the development cycle. Holistic, end-to-end ownership for (automated) functional and non-functional testing, from creation of testing strategy and plan, to test data management, to execution and reporting of results. Define, implement, and analyze additional metrics and reports to determine test effectiveness, the overall quality of software as well as the clients’ perception of it. What we need to see from you Proven experience in the role of Quality Assurance / Test Engineer. • Experience in the areas of B2B software and Cloud subscription reselling, B2B e-commerce, business process automation or similar is a plus. • Experience in testing web based internal and external facing products (ideally in the context of business automation platforms) from a functional as well as non-functional testing, for both front-end and back-end components. • Experience using Azure/AWS services. • Extensive front-end and / or back-end programming experience on C#, JavaScript, and / or TypeScript. • Software (automation) development using OO design patterns. • Hands-on experience in testing REST services. • Experience with relational (MS SQL Server) and document database (MongoDB). • Experience with automation test creation and maintenance using Playwright, Jest, Selenium, xUnit, NSubstitute, FluentAssertions, Autofixture C#. • Experience with web performance testing, and load testing, database / SQL testing. • Experience with GIT and code review process. #LI-LP1 Job Function Marketplace Platform
