JOIN THE TEAMWe are looking for a Full Stack Developer with a wide range of skills and knowledge to effectively develop and maintain both the front-end and back-end components of enterprise-grade IT solutions for BASF Agricultural.

RESPONSIBILITIESProficiency in multiple technologies End-to-end development Front-end development Back-end development Database management Testing and debugging Deployment and Dev Ops Problem Solving User-Centric Focus DETAILED TASKSMobile Strategy Developer, both i OS and Android apps for agricultural solutions (internal and external users)Develop different apps for different users with different use cases.

Already 20 apps live in more than 30 countries Develop novel user interfaces and analytics modules for our biochemistry researchers to generate, manipulate, and visualize their data Identify, extract, transform, load, integrate, and display data from multiple internal and external data sources Collaborate with internal and external IT partners, maintaining frequent communication with users to understand their needs and develop frequently tested solutions.

Estimate development efforts in both time and required human capacity, supporting product owners on data science-related efforts (e.g., concepts, scalability, risk management)Participate in and contribute to the global agricultural solutions, data science, and research development communities at BASF.

QUALIFICATIONSDegree or equivalent experience in software engineering, data sciences, bioinformatics, cheminformatics, natural science, or a related field of study or several years of working experience on complex data sets, in an agile manner.

Complete Mobile App Developer, with experience in all phases of development including design, testing, and troubleshooting Hands-on experience with back-end work such as Java and Kotlin RESTful APIs (especially Fast API)Azure Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines and Data-centric with Governance (Spotify as a clear example).

ETL processes are an advantage but not a must.
