In December 2024, Boomi acquired Rivery, a Saa S ELT tool. To support rapid enablement of the Rivery sales cycle, differentiators, and processes for over 200 Boomi salespeople, the Rivery sales team became a specialist overlay team to the global organization. This means that the primary Account Manager (AM) or Account Executive (AE) is responsible for working with the prospect or client, while the Rivery Specialist actively assists the Boomi sales team through the sales, renewals, and upsell processes.
This is a unique role that combines sales understanding with deep product, industry knowledge, and expertise.
Please note, this will be a hybrid role: 3 days in our stunning Barcelona office, 2 days remote.
AM Specialist Responsibilities:

Support 40 current Rivery customers in Europe by assisting each Boomi AM.
Train on our renewals playbook, including pricing and negotiation best practices, to oversee their implementation in each account.
Analyze Rivery product usage to identify upsell opportunities.
Assist in rolling out new pricing plans to current customers (from May 1st, 2025).
Attend calls with clients to support Boomi AMs in executing these tasks.
AE Specialist Responsibilities:

Support 4 sales teams (24 reps) based in Barcelona to upsell Rivery to existing Boomi accounts and sell Rivery to new logo accounts.
Become an expert in the Rivery sales playbook, sales processes, proof of concept (POC) best practices, differentiators, and pricing strategies to assist Boomi AEs.
Work with the Enablement team to support phased enablement of sales teams to sell Rivery independently over 2025.
To successfully secure new business, you will assist Boomi sales team to:
Act as a trusted advisor to C-level clients, leveraging your knowledge of Boomi and Rivery products and services.
Use strategic probing to evaluate and propose business solutions.
Analyze market factors to anticipate customer needs and recommend solutions.
Engage cross-functional resources to meet customer needs.
Develop account plans aligned with business objectives.
Build customer confidence through expertise and professionalism.
To align with Boomi’s sales and business goals, you will help reps to:
Forecast sales accurately.
Implement pipeline and growth strategies.
Track and report key sales metrics.
Perform territory planning.
Skills & Experience Required:

2-6 years of experience in relationship selling.
Experience with ETL/ELT or Modern Data Stack tools is required.
Fluent in English, both verbal and written; additional European languages are a plus.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with MEDDPICC sales methodology is preferred.
Professional French and Spanish skills are a plus.
