C. H. Robinson is seeking a
Pricing Analyst
to join our Global Forwarding division in Madrid.
In this key position you will process and provide modal pricing and analytical responses as they relate to business opportunities.
You will work in conjunction with the network of offices, corporate shared services, and/or customers to coordinate the best competitive solution to meet the needs of the customers.
You will act as a pricing owner for each opportunity.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Implement pricing processes and SLAs with branches, maintaining pricing data in our bid ecosystem.
Manage daily pricing requests, ensuring timely responses and policy compliance.
Log pricing activities for operations staff.
Handle work queue through email, tickets, and phone, assisting with pricing issues.
Check bid submissions, awards, and uploads, ensuring quality and accuracy.
Review bid materials, gather and verify rates, and ensure timely submissions.
Understand modal yield strategy, fees, and market fluctuations.
Derive insights from data to create pricing strategies, including warehouse services, inventory, and transportation pricing.
Generate reports and understand warehouse capabilities, allowed products, and market costs for effective customer solutions.
Collaborate with sales and pricing teams, participate in customer calls, and update management on pricing opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years previous experience in Pricing, OCEAN freight
Experience in an Account or Sales role
Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
Commercial experience within C. H. Robinson and/or external logistical experience
Preferred:
Ability to work cross-functionally and effectively influence and partner
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Demonstrated prioritization, time management, and attention to detail and accuracy skills
Demonstrated strong decision-making skills, problem solving and conflict resolution skills, and ability to prioritize tasks between daily responsibilities
