Global Category Manager

Location: Barcelona, Spain

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Category Manager to join our team in Barcelona. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a specific group or category of products or services on a global scale. You will play a key role in developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth and profitability within your category.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead strategic plans for your category, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships, including negotiation, contract management, and performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure effective execution of category strategies.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
• Provide training and support on legal and contract management issues within the global contracting team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in category management positions.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
