Ensure systems and equipment developed and produced are reliable, maintainable, safe and available when required by the client.
Manage ILS engineering of products, either by directing internal resources or by subcontracting work to external companies; work on projects for external clients and internal company investments.
Apply fundamentals of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) in project execution.
Supervise projects and subcontractors; plan, execute and monitor projects to meet time, cost and quality objectives.
Apply knowledge of defense regulations and standards relevant to the defense industry (e.g., STANAG, MIL-STD, DEF-STAN) and related ILS standards.
Demonstrate technical knowledge in multidisciplinary systems (electronics, mechanics, telecommunications; HW/SW) used in defense or weapons systems, including design, operation and maintenance.
Perform RAM T and S analyses and life cycle cost (LCC) analyses for reliability, availability, maintainability, security and testability of systems.
Generate manuals, training and provide technical support.
Perform cost analyses and develop strategies to optimize support costs throughout the system life cycle.
As after-sales action manager, oversee maintenance actions of systems in service; lead a team of technicians, collaborate with commercial, quality, engineering and operations teams; resolve incidents and ensure customer satisfaction, nationally and internationally.
Exercise strong communication and leadership skills to guide teams and stakeholders. Location
Madrid, Spain. National and international travel are required.
Qualifications
Engineering (master’s degree).
Engineering knowledge of design and development.
Experience in configuration management of complex systems to ensure traceability and integrity throughout the lifecycle.
English: high level.
Use of ILS management programs.
Driving license.
German and experience in the Defense sector (advantageous).
