Job Description
What you’ll do
As an experienced

Head of Community & Partnerships , you will identify, cultivate and grow a community of high‑value locals and global travellers.

You will build a scene that mixes signature SLS activations with influential partners and KOLs to position the property as Barcelona’s definitive place to be.

Reporting to the

Director of Food & Beverage , you will continuously seek opportunities to enhance and differentiate the guest and local experience, spotting opportunities, solving challenges and building an engaged, loyal, ever‑growing audience.

Drive innovative cultural thinking that supports brand and business goals, positioning SLS Barcelona as a hotspot for working, dining, drinking, resting and playing.

Develop brand‑aligned activations and associations that reinforce SLS Barcelona’s elevated positioning, championing the hotel’s USPs (F&B, Wellness, Persona/Spirit, Design) so each initiative flows back to what sets the property apart.

Identify and engage KOLs who influence the local community, integrating them as ambassadors across property touchpoints relevant to their audiences.

Create compelling franchise programming that attracts audiences with spending power or cultural currency, stands out competitively and helps overcome location perceptions, partnering closely with F&B and Operations in development, execution and evaluation.

Collaborate with Marketing to conceive and execute signature marquee events that become mainstays of Barcelona’s social calendar—curating every detail of the guest experience and nodding to guest lists that inspire FOMO.

Secure strategic local and global partnerships that generate awareness, add credibility, strengthen positioning and enhance the guest experience.

Work with community leaders to support local development initiatives, ensuring strong neighbourhood relationships and openness to co‑funded activations.

Partner closely with Marketing and external agencies to ensure all partnerships, programs and events are leveraged across owned, earned and paid channels—maximising visibility and impact.

Establish clear metrics for success across partnerships, activations and cultural programming—tracking engagement, reach, revenue impact, local traction and brand relevance to continually refine and elevate outcomes.

Shape the brand expression for SLS Barcelona, establishing a distinct cultural footprint that reflects the resort’s unique position in Barcelona.
