And find satisfaction in doing your part to make the world a better place.Become amaker of possiblewith us!--Our vision for Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) at BD--As a leading manufacturer and supplier of products that are used daily in healthcare, the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) team provide a wide range of products for injection and infusion therapy, regional anaesthesia and closed medication management.About the roleThe Medical Manager is a key position in the Iberia organisation and is responsible for developing the medical workstreams in collaboration with the business teams that support the operational & strategic activities of the business. Responsible for the management of a team composed by a Medical Advisor & a number of Clinical Specialist who are executing the medical and clinical strategy in Iberia.Main responsibilities will include:HCP Consulting & Clinical Support:Coordinate the activities of the Iberia Medical Affairs team to provide planned and ad-hoc medical & clinical support to HCP in support of the business strategies.Education & Training:Coordinate the delivery of product & educational trainings. Support the internal training of Iberia associates on medical/scientific/technical areas.KOL & Society Engagement:Create a KOL & scientific society strategy for the region supporting advocacy and engagement initiative.Scientific Exchange & Insight:Manage the response to medical inquires and off-label request, supported by the EMEA HQ Medical Affairs team and the Global Medical Information team.Evidence Generation & Dissemination:Manage an Iberia evidence and dissemination council for the approval of local evidence opportunities.Service Solutions:Manage the compliant delivery of the BD Medical Services and associated solutions through the Iberia clinical team ensuring that they aligned with the Iberia strategy.Business support:Manage the team to support the business projects, by providing expertise and insight into business projects, support local Veeva vault of local language materials (by exception).Management of the Iberia BD MDS Medical Team:·Contribute to create a Medical Team spirit with a high morale and motivation & ensure strong collaboration of his/her team with the rest of the BD Iberia organization.·Support the Medical Team with account segmentation & prioritization of clinical activities in accordance with the MDS business unit. Develop new approaches to support customers and clinicians in an ever-changing healthcare environment (Digital, distance learning etc.).·Selection, hiring the associates for the Medical Team, coach the Medical Team via field visits and 1:1 interaction, conduct performance reviews per associate, create development & succession plans. About youCertified as a HCP (Nurse or physician) and/or educated to Bachelor Degree in Scientific DisciplinesEnglish fluentPrevious professional experience in medical/clinical roles in Pharma and/or Medical Companies1 year leadership experienceUnderstanding of GCP & European clinical trial requirements & Medical device regulations50% travel, including overnight staysBecton, Dickinson and Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
