Head of People Operations – Global Fin Tech Scale-up

We are currently representing a high growth, multi entity Global Fin Tech leader seeking a Head of People Operations . This is a senior leadership mandate for a builder-operator who can bridge the gap between high-level People Strategy and operational execution.
This isn't just a process role. It’s an architect position. You will own the entire people infrastructure for a complex, regulated global group spanning MENA, APAC, Europe, and the US.
The Mission
You will lead a globally dispersed team to deliver a seamless employee experience across 15+ legal entities and 25+ EOR/PEO countries. Your goal is to ensure that as this Fin Tech scales, the infrastructure doesn't just hold but it thrives.
Key Execution Areas Global Infrastructure: Ownership of the end-to-end people operating model, ensuring a consistent experience from onboarding to offboarding. Payroll & Mobility: Senior oversight of global payroll, benefits, and complex immigration/mobility cases. Systems & Automation: Leading a digital-first approach. You will optimize a global HRIS ecosystem, leveraging AI-enabled workflows and API integrations to drive self-service and scalability. M&A & Expansion: Leading the People Ops due diligence and integration for new acquisitions and entity launches. Compliance: Managing global employment contracts, SOPs, and governance in a complex, regulated environment.
The Ideal Profile The Global Expert: You’ve led People Ops in a fast-growing, regulated environment (Fin Tech, Payments, or Banking). The Tech-First Mindset: You are a power user of modern HRIS platforms (Hi Bob/Workday/Deel) and understand how to use technology to automate high-touch human experiences. The Pragmatist: You can interpret labor law across multiple jurisdictions (Europe, US, APAC) and apply it practically, not just theoretically. The Leader: Experience scaling and developing dispersed teams of specialists. The Experience: Fin Tech or Payments regulated environments is a must and experience with high and rapid growth organisations changing from Start-up to Scale-up environments.
