For the expansion of our EMEA team, argenx is looking for a Senior Sales and Marketing Manager, EMEA with a flexible location in Europe.
PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTION
The Senior Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for marketing, sales and commercial excellence activities to achieve the organization’s commercial objectives. This encompasses launch planning/tracking, brand management, promotional activities aligned with the indication Strategic focus, sales training effectiveness and patient support efforts to drive performance. The role will play a critical role in the definition of the commercial go-to-market strategy for the launch. This critical commercial role will partner closely with affiliate sales & marketing teams, as well as marketing teams in the US and Japan, and cross-functional colleagues in medical affairs, market access, finance and beyond.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Leadership
Serve as the EMEA Sales and Marketing Sr Manager for efgartigimod (CIDP) with co-responsibility for sales, marketing and commercial initiatives for the launch of efgartigimod in EMEA.
Shape the regional Sales & Marketing plans, accelerate growth of the business and support alignment of product business goals, working closely with affiliate teams.
Assess marketing and sales opportunities through appropriate research.
Lead the execution of a broad range of commercial projects and tactics including (but not limited to) promotional campaign, disease awareness, patient activation and support, congresses and digital tactics.
Prepare and oversee the EMEA sales and marketing budget and regular sales forecast revisions.
Commercial Excellence
Support the argenx commercial excellence / go-to-market approach for EMEA and ensure that sales efforts maximize returns on assets, while achieving the strategic, commercial and financial targets.
Analyze sales performance and implement plans for improvement, as needed.
Establish sales force effectiveness and commercial training solutions for Europe.
People Leadership
Collaborate closely with Country Brand Teams for CIDP on plan development and execution, objectives, projects, tactics and SFE initiatives.
Collaborate closely with the EMEA Sales and Marketing Sr Manager for efgartigimod (g MG) for executional excellence and maximizing the brand potential across neurology.
Partner cross functionally to ensure alignment and high quality across all aspects of our commercialization plans.
Compliance
Conduct business activities in compliance with ethics and legal requirements and aligned with all local codes of practice (ABPI, EFPIA, etc.).

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE
You have a proven track record of success in previous commercial roles either in-country, above country or both.
You have demonstrating continued progression throughout your career (high potential).
You have hands-on experience leading sales, marketing and / or commercial excellence activities for specialty therapeutics, ideally in the orphan drug space.
You have proven business planning and financial management acumen, with a data-driven and analytical approach to building new businesses.
You have over 5 years of experience within the biopharmaceutical industry including operational and strategy roles.
OTHER
Flexibility to travel required.
German Language Skill is an asset.
