About the role

At FLANKS, we are looking for a

Banking Back/Middle Office Specialist - EU Market

to join our team. If you’re a motivated professional with a passion for financial services and an in-depth understanding of the German and/or UK market, this is your chance to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment. We’d love to meet you!
Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the candidate will undertake the following responsibilities:
Verify the accuracy and completeness of all data entries and updates, cross-referencing with original documents and third-party sources as necessary.
Incident Resolution:

Investigate and resolve discrepancies and problems related to customer transactions and accounts.
Data Management:

Collect, organize, and maintain detailed records of all assets, including real estate, investments, trusts, bank accounts, and other holdings.
Data Extraction:

Extract relevant information from PDFs and other documents to incorporate into asset management databases.
Financial Operations Control:

Oversee the financial operations exchange of clients with various banking entities.
Process Improvement:

Collaborate on projects to improve and automate processes.
Database Utilization:

Support different areas of the company by exploiting the database.
Communication:

Act as a liaison between the client and banks, external advisors, including lawyers, accountants, and financial advisors.
What we'd love to see

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Finance, or a Higher Degree in Administration or related fields.
Experience:

Minimum of three years of experience in administrative, audit, or accounting roles within the financial/banking sector.
Language Skills:

English/German/French native. Spanish is a plus.
Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office tools.
Organizational Skills:

Highly organized and methodical. Used to work in cross-functional tasks.
Results-Oriented:

Strong focus on achieving results.
