At Unimedia Technology, we're on the lookout for a Data Analyst to work on the next-gen digital signage and advertising platform used by major clients across Europe.
What You’ll Do
As a Data Specialist, you’ll be crucial to making sure the geographic and postal data is clean, accurate, and ready to go. Here's a taste of your day-to-day:
● Research and scrape geographic, postal data and point-of-interest sources, integrating them into the systems.
● Perform data cleaning, validation, and integration into our Postgre SQL database.
● Collaborate on internal projects with the team to process and analyze data effectively.
● Work closely with the Product Owner and Development to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
● Document your workflows and processes to keep things running smoothly.
You’ll Fit Right In If You...
● Have strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Postgre SQL (you’re comfortable writing queries like a pro).
● Know your way around data processing and automation (bonus if you’ve automated workflows before).
● Have excellent written and spoken English communication skills
● Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field.
● Have a good handling of Python or similar
Nice-to-Haves
● Experience with GIS (Geographical Information Systems) tools like QGIS or similar platforms.
● Some familiarity with bash scripting and Git for version control.
● Hands-on knowledge of web scraping tools and techniques (because sometimes the best data is hiding on the web).
● A basic understanding of PHP (for occasional integrations).
● Fluency in additional languages, especially those useful in international postal systems.
