We are looking for an experienced Dev Ops Engineer to join our team, the core strategic projects of the Deutsche Telekom AG. The cross-functional team works closely with the development teams on their journey to Dev Ops. In our team, we aim for automation and slick solutions to provide a modern and stable runtime stack. In our culture, we strive to create a start-up atmosphere in the enterprise.

We are working within a lean and automated approach using modern technologies and methods like Git Ops, Infrastructure-as-a-Code on AWS, CI/CD and, of course, Agile. The project language is English.

We are looking for a candidate with a Dev Ops mindset and familiar with or interested in learning one or more of these technologies:
AWS Platform engineering (EC2, EKS, Lambda, Route53, RDS,..)
Containerization, K8s, EKS
Automation
Infrastructure-as-Code (Pulumi)
CI/CD (Gitlab, Argo CD)
Microservice Architecture (APIs)
Git Ops
Scripting (Python, golang, bash, sql,...)
Monitoring (ELK, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana,...)
Linux, VMs
Postgre SQL, Kafka, Redis

What tasks we have:
Work in one of our expert groups (Flocks), e.g. API, AWS Platform engineering
Ensuring application quality (Prod QA)
Technical E2 E Incident analysis/troubleshooting
Root cause analysis (system + infrastructure errors)
Sustainable Operation (SRE experience)
Application maintenance & support incl. on-call
Disaster recovery and high availability
Close collaboration with development teams (Continuous Improvement)
