Technical Skills:
10+ years of experience in software development and at least 2 to 3+ years as a Databricks, Postgre SQL developer for a large/high volume project.
Experience with Oracle or other databases along with 2 to 3 years of experience with Postgre SQL is acceptable.
Experience working on analytical projects, with an understanding of the underlying data and its relevance for given hypotheses.
Ability to write queries and procedures to achieve project objectives.
Mindfulness of performance and other aspects of solutions presented to the team.
Experience with CRM-related projects is preferred.
Strong database fundamentals, experience with performance tuning, bottlenecks, and database ER modeling.
Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics, and isolation levels.
Experience with Postgre SQL and Postgre SQL architecture.
Implementation and maintenance of database code in the form of tables, stored procedures, scripts, queries, views, triggers, etc.
Ability to measure database performance and troubleshoot complex database issues, including IO bottlenecks.
Knowledge of JSON and Postgre SQL support for JSON.
Process Skills:
Knowledge of software development and Databricks migration process.
Behavioral Skills:
Customer handling and good communication skills.
Certification:

Any relevant certification.
