The candidate will join
ISR Mission Systems Architectures
team, and as part of it, will participate in the following tasks, aimed to the development of Mission Systems for Airbus Derivatives and eventually other platforms, such as M&L, A400, RPAS/UAS, FCAS:
Lead all Systems Engineering activities in the Mission Systems field in order to deliver safe, reliable, mature and cost effective solutions for the customers.
Analyze customer requirements for its transformation into design solutions, architectures and concepts of operations.
Assess innovative technologies and architectures, to deliver independent cost benefit analysis (manufacturer & operator related), deeply involved in the R&D/T initiatives.
Specify, integrate, qualify, certify and ensure the continued airworthiness of the Mission Systems used to perform different kinds of missions (ISR - Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Maritime Patrol, Anti-Submarine Warfare, Aerial Delivery, Attack/Combat operations...)
Be responsible for the integration of specific mission sensors, equipment and systems (both airborne and ground segments, at hardware and functional level) necessary for the Mission System to perform its intended missions.
Specify, require, and support Laboratory, Ground and Flight tests needed for the development, certification and qualification (V&V) of the Mission System.
Provide Systems Engineering support for the full lifecycle of the Mission System, from development to in-service support.
Support Services and Commercial campaigns in all aspects related to Mission Systems.
Minimum Requirements:
Systems Engineering background / experience, V&V process, requirements management tools, functional analysis, Model Based Systems Engineering knowledge, etc.
At least 3 years of experience in related fields is required.
Systems architectures transversal / analytical point of view, Think-Out-Of-The-Box way.
Networks, Computing, Software, Cybersecurity knowledge.
General Mission Systems / Avionics knowledge, including Displays, controls, computers, sensors, data buses / protocols.
General Airworthiness and Certification process knowledge.
Willingness to interact, in international environments, with many different people and profiles, using different roles (from Coordinator to Contributor, through Spokesman/woman).
Capability to go from the higher point of view (Full System) to the very details of implementation of a subsystem component.
Fluent English/Spanish (oral, written).
