DESCRIPTION We are looking for a talented Functional Excellence Manager to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for Accelera by Cummins in Guadalajara, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain.

We manufacture zero emissions solutions like electrolysers for renewable Hydrogen generation.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Guide the Plant professional team in resolving issues, managing incidents, and implementing improvements related to the ERP system and its integrated tools.

Manage and drive improvement initiatives for the effectiveness of functional processes , aligning them with end-to-end value stream performance goals and customer outcomes.

Collaborate with business and functional leaders to set functional maturity goals and develop strategies and roadmaps to achieve these goals.

Oversee performance metrics within the function, ensuring alignment with internal value chains and end-to-end processes to meet organizational objectives.

Support governance of functional processes, systems, and data within an enterprise-wide framework, contributing to operational excellence and standardization.

Facilitate talent development activities, including crafting global position profiles, identifying competencies, and aligning learning strategies with functional needs.

Stay connected with industry trends, research best practices, and engage with peers to position the company for sustainability and growth.

Partner with end-to-end process owners and functional excellence teams to prioritize and implement continuous improvement efforts , delivering measurable and impactful results.

RESPONSIBILITIES To be successful in this role you will need the following: Strong understanding of business processes and cross-functional interdependencies, with expertise in executing business transactions within Oracle Saa S ERP.

Prior experience in Oracle Saa S ERP and familiarity with integrations from other systems, such as MES, WMS, or MAXIMO, is highly valued.

Open to on-site presence to address high dependency needs and ensure effective collaboration with teams.

Business-focused mindset with a global vision of ERP architecture, focusing on transactional processes rather than IT technical or functional systems skills.

Proficiency in navigating and utilizing ERP systems at a Super User level, supporting efficient execution of business operations.

Local presence in Spain, with access levels equivalent to other business users, enabling seamless integration into the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS Education/ Experience: College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.

Significant relevant experience required, including managerial experience.

Prefer strong experience leading strategic and change efforts within a function or business unit; and the ability to make and drive connections across relevant work streams.

Solid communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as ability to work comfortably amidst ambiguity important for success in this role.
