The company has been ranked among the top workplaces in Health Care 2022.The Agilent Healthcare Diagnostics Group (HDx) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated and people-oriented individual to join our successful and dynamic Spanish team, to cover the region of North-West Spain, Galicia and surrounding area.As a HDx Account Manager, you will be driving sales in a clinical environment to NHS hospital Trusts. Covering both Cellular Pathology (Histology) and Genomics to supply reagents and instrumentation, focusing on acquiring new customers, while retaining and growing the existing installed base of customers. You will be encouraged to develop and implement successful strategies and tactics to sell sophisticated Cellular pathology and Genomics workflow solutions across the Clinical continuum. You will also maintain and expand relationships with strategically important large customers in the assigned territory, such as key teaching hospitals and reference centers, in line with Agilent's corporate strategy.Responsibilities:Drive sales of Cellular pathology (histology) and Genomics portfolios, inclusive of capital equipment, reagents, consumables, software and service to provide end to end workflows.Understand Cellular pathology and Genomics applications in the Clinical setting. Specifically histological staining, H&E, Specials, IHC, and ISH. Clinical Genomics profiling techniques such as Array CGH and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS).Effectively prospect to find and close new opportunities in existing and new accounts.Efficiently handle a funnel of leads and opportunities in CRM and provide an accurate monthly sales forecast and territory narrative.Develop and complete a territory business plan that will enable Agilent to gain market share and achieve sales goals in the territory.Collaborate with the Field Marketing team to coordinate and advertise regional promotions and awareness events within the territory ( workshops, seminars, etc.).Conduct product presentations and instrument demonstrations with and without Product Specialist (PS) and Field Applications Scientist (FAS) assistance.Provide constructive feedback from customers into Agilent to help guide continual development of ground breaking products that address evolving customer needs.Cultivate and maintain strategic customer relationships.Participate and be an active member in regional discussion groups and forumsQualificationsBSc or higher degree in Biology, Biomedical Science, Molecular Biology, Genetics or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.PhD in related scientific areas would be a plus.Experience in both or either the Cellular Pathology or Genomics field.Preferably sales experience with a proven track record of successfully selling Cellular pathology or Genomics reagent portfolios and capital equipment into clinical pathology, genetics, molecular pathology disciplines.Adaptable and can work to deadline can use a multitude of software applications, project management and can work with cross functional teams,Highly motivated, with excellent self-management, presentation and communication skills (verbal and written).Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.What we offer you:This is a full-time, permanent position.
