Transportation Transformation Lead aims for the standardization and optimization of the fulfilment and transportation processes in the export platforms responsible of fulfilling both affiliates (intercompany) and 3rd party sales.

The transformation program also aims to improve the visibility layer of detailed shipment events to enable intelligent decision making, avoid risks and improve resilience. This will be done by implementing an overarching layer to collect and govern the E2 E logistics processes.

Concentrate on the Transportation transformation and as well the development of the Transportation Control Tower Capabilities. This project will include the implementation of a new TMS solution (e2open) and a Connectivity platform to connect to the Carriers. The role also considers the setup of the New Organization. Support a seamless process design, fit-gap analysis, and a smooth implementation for both projects, making sure that both are integrated into the e2open Orchestration layer.

Key Accountabilities

Transportation Control Tower Capabilities

Lead Business and Technical requirements collection and validation accordingly

Drive the detailed design phase

Assist in GAP & Impact analysis

Coordinate the deployment of the Transportation Control Tower Capabilities, including:

Governance definition

New Organization

Processes

Technology (including to-be TMS implementation and Connectivity platform to the carriers)

Coordinate the implementation teams and provide SME recommendations (Sanofi teams, Software vendors and Consulting partners)

Lead hypercare and support post-implementation

Setup Transportation Control Tower Performance monitoring Analytics capabilities in the Control Tower Connectivity Layer

Setup the Continuous Improvement Capabilities Setup

About you

Experience:

7+ years of experience in leading large-scale implementation and transformation programs/projects, including all project/program phases (Design, Build, Test, Go-Live and Hypercare) in the area of Transportation

Previous Working Experience in a top Consulting firm or internal Consulting/Transformation roles

TMS Implementations, with at least 1 TMS in the Leaders Gartner Magic Quadrant (SAP TM, Oracle TM, Blue Yonder, Manhattan Associates or e2 Open TMS)

Advanced Analytics

Control Tower Implementations (Technology and Organization)

Externalization to Service Provider projects in Transportation is a plus

Transportation Management knowledge (including Processes, Technology and Organizations)

Understanding of integration between TMS, WMS, Connectivity platform systems with ERP

Ability to assess Functional Requirements and convert them into Technical Requirements

Understanding of global logistics, supply chain networks and distribution

Education:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

Master’s degree or relevant certifications in Supply Chain is a plus
